I have been greeting families as they enter Stepping Stone School for fifteen years. Parents and students are sometimes anxious and not sure what to expect with an out-of-district placement. By welcoming each family to our Stepping Stone School family, I try to set their anxieties aside and hope they start to see the nurturing, caring environment we have tried to establish for each student.
