Hello,

I’m Mrs. Decker, the teacher in Level 2. I have been working at Stepping Stone for 19 years. I have two highly qualified classroom assistants. The three of us make a great team that provides an environment conducive for learning and nurturing as well.

I feel learning needs to be fun. I incorporate humor in a great deal of the academics. In addition to the individualized academic program, I use learning centers once a week to reinforce skills.

Social skills building and improving self esteem are important aspects of our program. We always work on these goals in whatever we are doing.

I believe all children deserve a good education no matter what their disability.

The children are our future, we must teach them well!
