As an instructional aide at Stepping Stone School, since 2000, my responsibility in the Level 1 primary grade, is to work closely with the students by helping them achieve their emotional, social, and academic needs. Working with the students as a group as well as individualized instructional lessons is very effective.

My wish for all the students who have passed through our halls and have used our school as a “stepping stone” into the world, is that they are able to

develope the strategies they need that will allow them to succeed throughout their lives. Instead of building walls may they learn to build bridges.

I would like to see everyone open their hearts to those around them and realize that everyone they meet is special in his or her own way.
