As technology is continuously evolving, so is the instruction in the computer lab. Younger kids start by learning basic keyboarding and word processing skills and move on to power point, spreadsheets and databases as appropriate. At the same time as they are learning computer skills, they are also doing internet research so they can apply these skills in completing classroom projects. I believe it is important for our students to understand and be comfortable with the concepts and application of technology in order for them to function in today’s world.
